Keynote: Winning in the Digital, Attention and Collaboration Economy

Wednesday 9 September | 2:10pm - 2:50pm | Ballroom

To thrive in the globally influential DACE (Digital, Attention and Collaboration Economies) businesses and brands must build authentic connections, which combine the best elements of Enduser/stakeholder engagement, networking and social media outreach.

The evolution from from ‘command-and-control’ to collaborative solutions sees competitive advantages being gained through the use of innovative, high-touch, low-friction techniques, tools and technologies. Leverage points include the effective use of conduits to the globally connected DACE. These include ever more expectant Endusers – particularly Millennials and Centennials -  who are attuned to the ‘smell of the sell’. Thus, their inclusion in the design cycle of products, promotions and services is a strategic way to successfully build and maintain authentic connections and create sustainable credibility for brand and business.

Regardless of the size of the organisation, what is without doubt is that doing nothing during the DACE race is not an option; a lack of engagement will equate to a fade into obscurity at a unprecedented rate.
